Only trying to help :(

Well, I'm not sure if anyone has logged into the blog yet, but I left a comment on the GamesBurp blog in which it was claimed that they had found Metro 2033, which is released this Friday, March 19th, at the best price.

Strange Products in the Mail #0001

Why anyone would use this, I really don't know... I'm one of those that like Marmite, on sandwiches with cheese, but as toothpaste? That's just nasty...

Chris Conway Quits Most Haunted

Image
It's not that much of a surprise really, despite me going to several Most Haunted Live events and meeting Chris at the last live Halloween event, I've never been a big fan of the show and just went along for the fun of it. Chris is a nice guy though and didn't deserve to be put on the back burner when going on vigils, what's the point in having a medium on the show if you're not going to use them or contradict their findings?

Deal of the Week ... Xbox Live's Major Nelson

If you haven't bought any Xbox Originals due to feeling they're over-priced (you could probably find them pre-owned cheaper and an old Xbox for about £15), then a few of them have been dropped 400 MS Points to make them more appealing. Deal of the Week: Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Max Payne 2 and Fable - Xbox Live's Major Nelson .

Achievement Unlocked

Don't worry, it's not a pointless post about me unlocking achievements in games I've recently played, it's to do with the sound you hear when you unlock an achievement on the Xbox 360. Xbox 360 Achievement Sound Click the link and it will either play in your browser/media player or a download box may pop up depending on your settings.

Corey Haim, Star of '80s Movies, Dies - CNN.com

Such a shame, you couldn't look anywhere during the 80's without seeing him mentioned somewhere. Corey Haim, star of '80s movies, dies - CNN.com . R.I.P. Mr Haim

The Hurt Locker Pwns Oscars

Ok, so maybe not as much pwnage as The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, but still did very well by picking up quite a few.

Just Open It Next Time...

Image
Once again the postal service has taken upon itself to be nosey into stuff I've bought and this time it was a couple of kids things from Play.com (which were the wrong products, but since the items are worth more, I'm not complaining) and considering how big the boxes were and the way they're designed, it couldn't be more obvious that they have been tampered with.

Xbox 360 Case Security Seal

Image
I've been meaning to post this for a few days now, but as I'd bought Mass Effect and there was the usual security seal stuck over the part of the case you open it at, what do you do with it?

Got Battlefield: Bad Company 2, But...

Image
Ok, so EA have sent me a promo copy of Battlefield: Bad Company 2 in order for me to play and review, but the main problem is, I still don't have a PlayStation 3 due to not wanting one. Yeah, I know I should have one really if I'm a 'proper' gamer, but seriously, there aren't that many games I want on the PS3. Nothing on the system appeals to me so much that I would go out and get one, it's got nothing to do with any fanboyism or bias towards other systems, I think I counted maybe 3 games that I would consider and that's only because they're exclusive to PlayStation, the main one being Everybody's Golf. I'm in no rush to upgrade to Blu Ray yet either, DVD is still fine for me...

Humans are scum, DESTROY THEM ALL!

As previously mentioned, I bought some classic pre-owned PS2 games and one of them was Destroy All Humans 2, here's the raw version of the 2nd promo trailer as ripped from the game disk...
