A shit achievement

Image
I know this isn't exactly new news or anything, but you can literally get an achievement for shit. I've been attempting to play games in between my TV switching itself off and earlier today, I unlocked the above achievement for getting a Taffly to eat a berry and take a dump to create fertilizer. Who says shit ain't worth shit?! ;)

Onblog on your Wii, DS or PSP

Due to not noticing that I needed to click a link while visiting here on my Wii, I thought the Wii plugin had b0rk3d. So, I went to the plugins website and noticed something called the Wordpress Ultimate Gamer’s Pack Plugin that allows people to visit Wordpress blogs on the console/handheld of their choice via its browser. I’ve put a couple of pics up for you to click on and see what this blog looks like with the plugin, sorry the quality is crap, but you can see how it looks. It’s really just a list of however many entries you have per page and you just click on the title to read the post and surprisingly, the YouTube vids work in the Wii browser which I didn’t know as I don’t know the specs of the Wii browser. Anyway, just thought I’d let you know that there is more ways than one to read my blog! {edit}The plugin doesn’t work due to being hosted on WordPress.com.

Sunday, boring Sunday

Whatever happened to Sundays? They used to be so good and there was usually something you could find to do, now I find myself just sitting here and staring at the monitor wondering what to do. I've given up on using the PC for online gaming or any other kind of gaming, except a bit of old style games via DOSbox, but even those haven't been played for some time. I try to play console games, but the game is guessing when the TV will do its special trick of clunking into standby at any given moment, then there's the moving of consoles to be done, again. The X360 needs to be put in the vertical position in an effort to stop it scratching disks (it doesn't 'scratch' them as such, it's more of a graze that stops a part of the disk being read) and the Wii has the crappest Wi-Fi ever, it has loads of trouble connecting when under the TV, so it's going to have to go back to on top of my drawers so that it can get a better signal. I'm not really a tidy person,...

acecam video blog r go

Well, if you can stand my boring dull tone for a few minutes, I'd like to present you with my first video blog. Sorry if I don't sound very energetic, enthusiastic or exciting in any way, but it's just the way I talk and the way I am. I'm just being myself, not trying to be something I'm not, what you see is me and my personality and I'm really not as boring as I sound. Don't fall to sleep, there will be questions at the end... ;P

Testing... is this thing on..?

Laugh all you like, it's just me messing about testing my webcam.

It’s grumble time again

I am getting so pissed off with my TV now and it’s constant switching off into standby mode, WHY? It works fine for even up to 3 hours or so and then .. CLUNK! .. off it goes. I have a feeling it could be the tube is finally giving up and one of these days it’ll go ‘clunk’ forever, can’t complain really, had it a couple of years now and it only cost about £90. I’d like one the same size, 24″ widescreen, but I don’t really want HD Ready since it’s only going to be used for gaming (and a bit of TV/DVD watching), but with the cost of some of the budget sets coming down, you can pick them up for around £230-ish, but I really need to sort something out soon before I go mad. Talking of TV, in a bid to save a bit of money, me and the missus were thinking of switching to Cable TV, so I decided to attempt to navigate the Virgin Media site to find out more about what channels with what package and so on. Since we’re already customers with the broadband and phone, it seems we would get a bit of a...

Whoops, haven’t blogged for a while!

Wowzers! I didn't realise it had been so long since the last blog post and I'm trying to keep it as updated as I can. It's been mainly to do with having a cold and my head is still a bit numb from it, so I've hardy done much in the last couple of weeks. Started decorating, but then due to wanting/needing to buy stuff, I forgot about Valentines Day, therefore the last couple of days have been pretty shit with the missus being pissed off about not getting anything and my sleeping pattern is fucked up again. I'm ok at going in the living room, having a snack while watching TV, then lying down to watch TV and falling asleep for a few hours, but then I wake up and go to bed for an hour, and get back out of bed due to not being able to get back to sleep. I didn't bother with the Brits, I noticed Amy Whinehorse went and won what Lily Allen should have, nominated for 4 awards and didn't get one, that's shit Brits for you. One good thing out of it was that Oasis ...

Another joker

I do wish people would stop using my Hotmail address to sign up for shit. Welcome man_man6, You are now a member of King.com and can compete in great games against players from all over the world. As you play you will collect jewels whether you beat you opponent or not. Keep track of how many jewels you have as the more you collect the more new features you will unlock. man_man6? Who the f**k is that? What the f**k (used in its proper context) is king.com? Do these idiots that use my address realise that they aren’t going to get any confirmation emails and that I could easily go to links in the emails, retrieve passwords and take over their account(s)?! I did that once to some guy that used another email address of mine and it happened to be some dating site or something, well, since I kept getting these emails from that place, I decided to log into his account and change it to weird stuff and that he was gay looking for men and whatnot. That was when I got an email from him saying he ...

Who The F**k?

There’s another ‘WTF’ acronym for the fat geeks of WebProNews that spammed an email address of mine with nonsensical ramblings. Who the fuck are they and do they really know W HAT T HE F **K they are talking about?! WTF? It’s one of the more popular little collections of three letters people use to describe their bafflement at some particularly head-shaking piece of news. At Technorati, visitors have that same feeling when someone or something suddenly becomes a hot topic, but aren’t sure why. That’s when Where’s The Fire? comes into play. What? No. WTF doesn’t mean the lame ‘Where’s The fire?’, that’s just shit. Technorati is one of, if not the biggest blog feed site going (if only it would let me ‘claim’ this blog properly instead of giving me some bullshit error), so to call this new WTF thing something weak is just crap. Anyhow, I’ve ‘unsubscribed’ from the shitty newsletter that featured an article from another fat-faced nerd about Apple having to pay legal fees to bloggers, some...
